Joel M. Price grew up in San Antonio where he was an active member in his elementary, middle school, and high school choirs. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he earned two Bachelor of Music Degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance. He was honored to be selected as the RISD Secondary Teacher of the Year for the 2004-2005 school year. An avid reader, Mr. Price also collects (and wears!) musical and holiday ties. In his twenty-sixth year of teaching, Mr. Price is excited to be back at Westwood for his twenty-first year and looks forward to another successful school year.
Paige Nolan grew up in Plano where she was in choir from 4th grade until she graduated, as well as being selected as a member of the 2014 Texas All-State Choir. Ms. Nolan attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at Tech, Ms. Nolan was given the opportunities to perform in places such as Lincoln Center in New York City and in Italy for two summers in a row. Prior to coming to Westwood, Ms. Nolan completed her student teaching in Carrolton-Farmers Branch ISD at Newman Smith High School and worked as a long term choir substitute in Mesquite ISD at AC New Middle School. In her free time, Ms. Nolan loves traveling and binge watching Netflix. Ms. Nolan is so excited to be at Westwood for her second year as a "real" teacher and is looking forward to having an excellent school year!
